Aim:

To enable participants to consider the implications of self-esteem in the lives of boys and young men.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will have the opportunity to:
  • Examine what is meant by self-esteem and emotional resourcefulness.
  • Develop an understanding of the inner and outer world of boys and young men.
  • Identify practical strategies to support emotional resourcefulness and self-esteem and how workers can model positive behaviours and attitudes.
Who should attend? All front line staff working with boys and young men.
